Please note: The Refresh R-3600 water filter is designed to work with fridges that required the RWPF model filter, not the RWPFE. If your fridge requires th RPWFE filter (as in E for electronic), then RPWF style filters won’t work out of the box, since the RPWFE has an RFID tag on it which ‘talks to’ your fridge. Some customers have reported a workaround, however: carefully take the sticker off the back of any RPWFE filter and transfer it to an RPWF replacement such as the R-3600. You may see a “time to replace the filter” message on your water dispenser screen (unfortunately, there is no way to reset this), but the filter should work fine. Just set a reminder on your calendar or by using one of our reminder magnets to replace the filter in 6 months or so. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
